Bon Jovi Rumor Sets Greenfield Hearts A-Flutter
If ever there was a celebrity sighting in Greenfield--and I'm not saying there ever was one--it could only have happened when some New York limo ran out of gas on the way to Vermont. But if this rumor turns out to be true, we'll have a true-to-life, respectable celebrity in our midst.
Why would Jon Bon Jovi, or any other rock-singin', football team-ownin' minor celebrity with big hair end up in our little corner of the woods? If you believe everything you hear, and around here you have to or you'll go crazy from boredom, the good-guy rocker is buying a house in town because his son is a student at nearby Deerfield Academy and the elder Bongiovi wants someplace other than the Howard Johnson's to spend the night on Parents' Weekend. I will definitely have my ogle-goggles on when I'm around town, hoping to spot such a cool cat.
